Ayobami Eluwole, MD

New York–trained interventional cardiologist, Dr. Ayobami Eluwole, completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Harlem Hospital Center, followed by an ECRIP Clinical Research Fellowship and dual fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He holds an MD (M.B.Ch.B). from Obafemi Awolowo University College of Health Sciences in Nigeria and a Master of Science in Clinical Research from Tulane University.

 

Dr. Eluwole is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and certified by the American Society of Echocardiography, with active medical licensure in New York, Michigan, Louisiana, South Dakota, and Arkansas.

 

Dr. Eluwole is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, American Society of Hypertension, and the American Heart Association, and served for a decade with the Committee of Interns & Residents. His work has earned multiple national recognitions, including the Best Poster Award at the 2018 ACC Scientific Sessions and the Junior Faculty Award at the 2017 AHA/ASH meeting. He has also been honored for excellence in teaching and leadership throughout his career.
